Teaching and learning celebrations w/c 05/01/2022

Class 1  We have really enjoyed coming back together again after our Christmas break.  We are incredibly proud of our new starters, who have settled into Class 1 beautifully this week.  We have started our new topic  'Who helps us?', and the children have been sharing their impressive homework with the class.

Class 2  have been busy during the holidays and shared their experiences in their writing as well as by sharing their Superheroes ‘brilliant beginnings’. We have welcomed Mrs Hodgson and worked hard for Mrs Pattinson and Mrs Dalgleish, showing respect and friendship.

Class 3 have had an excellent start to the term and demonstrated great attitudes towards their learning. We have thoroughly enjoyed sharing all the hard work put into the Brilliant Beginnings, so thank you for your support at home. In literacy we have begun to explore The Stone Age Boy and enjoyed doing some hot seating of the main character.

Class 4 have been very busy this week showing their Brilliant Beginnings about Victorians, we were very impressed by the range of activities that the children shared and the knowledge they have already gained.  During PE with Mr Rigg the children showed impressive skills and thoroughly enjoyed their first session of Tag Rugby.
