Teaching & Learning Celebrations from the children w/c 07/10/2024 from the children

Class 1 have had another fantastic week. Here are some of our favourite parts:

Playing games with my friends in the sunshine. I liked climbing on the climbing trees at Forest School. Playing outside, we made pizza in the mud kitchen. I liked making my snowman Christmas cards. I've enjoyed reading all the sounds I know. I like reading all the books. The hot chocolate at Forest School was very chocolatey. I loved making dens at Forest School to hide from the rain. I love the dinners Mrs Potts makes.

Class 2 We loved the woods. I liked the woods because I like cooking there.  I enjoy the daily mile the best.  I liked the games we played in P.E. I like it when Rachel comes into school.  I loved making my passport with Rachel.  I've enjoyed playing on the trim trail on the field. I love lunchtime and playtime.

Class 3  This week in Class 3 we have enjoyed PE and practising gymnastics. We have been enjoying maths, doing number lines and comparing numbers. We have started planning our wonderful stories about being lost. We enjoyed our day with Rachel from NISCU, we learned about Christianity across the word. Some of us enjoyed looking at Bibles written in different languages. We have enjoyed computing and making infographics about rocks too!

Class 4 This week, I really enjoyed designing my Christmas card using natural materials and a bit of sparkle.  In Science, we enjoyed investigating water resistance and carrying out a fair experiment. I enjoyed RE day with Rachel, finding out about Christians around the world.

I enjoyed buddy reading and eating lunch with the younger children. It was very interesting finding out how WW1 ended and why. I have enjoyed spending time with my friends at break times. We have enjoyed reading to the end of our class text 'Rose Blanche' finding out what happened to her and the people in her town.
