Class 1 have enjoyed watching the work on our exciting new outdoor area, looking at the different machines and guessing what's going to happen next. We have enjoyed spending lots of time playing with our friends before our summer break. We have also been practising our number formation, tricky words, and making posters to tell our new starters all about Class One. Have a fabulous, well deserved break and we'll see you in September! 

Class 2 A different week in Class 2, a carousel of activities which including sewing our initials in DT, writing a chosen recipe for a bear such as honey tart and marmalade pie.  In Maths, we've been working on position and direction, including left, right, anti-clockwise and clockwise, forwards, backwards etc.  In P.E. pupils enjoyed hitting and throwing the ball over the tennis nets.  They've enjoyed golden time, playing with a range of small world toys, building with Lego and colouring.    Some amazing singing in hymn practice could clearly be heard in Class 2 all the way from the hall too!  Well done Class 2 for a wonderful year and all the best to our Year 2’s heading into Class 3.  Have a super Summer!

Class 3   have been busy creating soup and bread. Learning about these processes and making fresh soup.  We were surprised how much sugar is in canned soup!  Our soup and bread were delicious.  We have also been working hard to finish our Science - learning what happens to a habitat if there is a change.  We enjoyed a game of Foxes and Squirrels to demonstrate these changes.  We enjoyed finishing our videos about Vikings.  We have had and busy term and are excited for the Summer holidays to begin!  Well done Class Three, you have been an amazing bunch of people to work with and spend time with over the year.  Year 4s, enjoy Class 4 and we will see the Year 3s ready to learn in September.  

Class 4 have had a fantastic last week. We've explored the great outdoors, completing fieldwork, visiting the park and playing rounders on the village green. 

We've been working on an art project with amazing results, exploring painting techniques using a variety of materials. 

We say goodbye to year 6, we will miss you all! Go and be amazing. Happy Summer holidays!
