Class 1 have had a fantastic and busy week! Their highlights were:
I've loved doing lots of Easter things and making my easter bunny. I liked making my pace egg at the forest, it had a nice pattern. I liked cleaning out the stick insects - they have really sticky feet! I loved cricket with Fraser. I loved the egg hunt at the forest. I'm really looking forward to my holidays!
Class 2 Here are our highlights: Making Easter cards using a bridge so the egg could popped open. Writing the elephant ending in English to my story. Playing outside and playing. Maths finishing our booklets. Decorating the eggs and home and looking at all the eggs in school. Seeing the colouring competition in the church. All of the Easter activities.
Class 3 have enjoyed some Easter activities this week, we made lolly pouches. We enjoyed our residential last week, doing ghyll scrambling and canoeing which were our favourite activities.
Class 4 In Design and Technology we have enjoyed designing road safety belts. We used materials (reflective tape, micro bits, and Velcro) to investigate which materials were most suitable for both day and night. The micro bits acted a light sensor.
In English, we have enjoyed editing and improving our writing to complete out character narrative.
We enjoyed our visit to the woods, we carried out a variety of activities, including whittling and fire lighting. Some of us prepared lunch, which was delicious (better the Giannis.)
We played fun games at the woods with our friends.
We presented the Easter service in the church, we all enjoyed telling the Easter story.
Today was exciting, we made chocolate Easter nests and designed Easter cards.
Happy Easter everyone!
