Class 1 have enjoyed taking part in their online SCARF session, talking all about ‘Happy, Healthy Me”. We have been continuing our work on life cycles, discussing how some babies look like their parents and others don’t. We have talked about what happens at different stages of our lives. We celebrated the end of a fantastic year of Forest School by decorating cakes and melting them in the oven – they were delicious! We loved watching Class Four in their dress rehearsal – Well done everyone!
Class 2 from the children:
I liked the woods because I liked everything.
I loved golden time.
I loved the trampolines at the Sands and had fun.
Forest schools was the best thing this week.
I liked playing hide and seek at the woods.
Class 3 have had a fun-filled week welcoming Mrs Ord back. They have been creating mosaics and have produced some wonderful pieces of art. We had our last swimming session and enjoyed lots of fun games in the pool. We have also been busy planning our stalls for the summer fair. Class 3 also enjoyed our 'Scarf' Zoom session for PSHE and thought really carefully about their unique qualities and what makes us special. We look forward to our last week at school and hope it is equally as fun as this week!
Class 4 have had a brilliant week. They enjoyed their PSHE sessions this week with a live online workshop, discussing emotions and managing risks. In History, they created shields telling the story of Alexander the Great. We have had fantastic attitudes to reading, with some children reaching 200%, 300% and even 400% of their reading targets, absolutely AMAZING!
The children enjoyed their dress rehearsal in front of the whole school on Tuesday, they were outstanding! Last night, their performance was PANTASTIC! We have such talented children at Crosby. They have all put in so much hard work over the past few weeks. I am so proud of Class 4!
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
