Children at Crosby use the Internet on a regular basis as part of their learning. In school we have frequent ‘online-safety’ sessions to remind children of the importance of keeping themselves safe online.
At home, sometimes children can be given unsupervised access to the Internet. This potentially allows them to access all kinds of society (both good and bad) and bring them virtually into their homes.
We are working hard to teach our children how to protect themselves from these threats, and we would appreciate your support from home.
Please have a look at the links below. They will give you lots of information about the types of threats there are, advice on how to tackle these problems, and also some activities you could complete alongside your child.
Also keep an eye out for out for sessions that we are planning in school to support Online-Safety.
